Madame Bovary

The novel tells a story of a marriage that ends in tragedy. Charles Bovary is a doctor, he is dull and unambitious man nevertheless he is a good-hearted person who marries with Emma, she is a gorgeous girl raised in convent. Emma is bored with her middle-class existence. The story comprises of many fantasies of Emma, one of which is running away with Rodolphe but she wasn't successful. The story describe that in action to gain more prosperity, people ruin the happiness of family as the end of the story reflect a very awful scenario.
