#1 The gemba is not easily changed. People’s ideas are unreliable things, and we should expect that a normal person is right half of the time and wrong the other half of the time. If you are wrong, do not hesitate to correct yourself.
#2 Having a sense of humility is one of the conditions for developing strong powers of persuasion. If you fear the other person, or if you do not understand why, and you just keep going ahead, knowing you are wrong but doing nothing about it, you will not know what is really wrong.
