Sharpe's Devil

Five years on from Waterloo, Sharpe's peaceful retirement in Normandy is shattered. One of his old friends, Don Blas Vivar, has gone missing in Chile, reportedly killed by rebel forces, something his wife refuses to believe. Sharpe finds himself bound for Chile, along with Patrick Harper. Firmly believing that they are going to find the corpse of their friend, neither man can imagine the danger that awaits them.
