Scott Fitzgerald's fourth and final completed novel, narrating the tragic story of Dick Diver, a young and brilliant psychiatrist whose career is interrupted when he marries the wealthy Nicole Warren, one of his patients. In this work, Fitzgerald addresses themes such as alcoholism, human depravity, psychoanalysis, loneliness, adultery, among others.
