The Legends of the First Empire is a new fantasy series set in the distant past of the Riyria novels published by Penguin Random House's Del Rey imprint starting in the summer of 2016. It tells the true story of how Novron saved mankind from extinction, won the heart of his wife Persephone, and founded The First Empire. It can be read by both new readers and veterans of the Riyria books.
